Royal Terberg Group, together with its environmental division, Terberg Environmental, is proud to announce a major milestone for our subsidiary, Ros Roca, with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art production plant in Tàrrega, Catalonia. Representing a significant investment, this new facility expands Ros Roca’s total site area to 96,000 m² and underscores our ongoing commitment to industrial excellence, technological innovation, and sustainable development.

The new plant is dedicated to manufacturing a wide range of waste collection equipment and has created additional job opportunities. With a manufacturing capacity of 2,000 units annually, this expansion enables us to respond more efficiently to customer needs and further strengthens our position as a benchmark in the sector.

The project has been supported by ACCIÓ, the Catalan agency for business competitiveness, part of the Department of Business and Employment, and has also benefited from grants aimed at supporting high-impact business investments.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Minister of Enterprise and Employment, Miquel Sàmper, and Jaume Baró, Secretary of Enterprise and Competitiveness and CEO of ACCIÓ. Minister Sàmper stated "These new facilities not only represent a significant economic investment but also a firm commitment to sustainable development, technological innovation, the Catalan territory and the generation of quality employment." According to the Minister of Enterprise and Employment, "from the Government of Catalonia, we are committed to supporting projects that boost the competitiveness of our industrial fabric, that generate stable employment and that promote environmental responsibility."

Since joining the Royal Terberg Group in 2016, Ros Roca has become a key asset to the organisation, exporting 70% of its output to international markets across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. When leading the opening of the new expansion, head of Ros Roca and COO of the group's European division, Pere Petit said  " A large part of our future growth will come from international markets, because in Tàrrega we are the group's design and production hub for collection bodies for the whole world. Part of our strategy is to continue increasing production capacity and efficiency, with further investments planned for automation, new machinery, and future growth phases.”

The Royal Terberg Group, with over 155 years of family heritage, employs more than 3,000 people worldwide and generates annual revenues exceeding €1.3 billion. With a presence in forty countries and exports to over a hundred markets, Terberg Environmental—together with its subsidiaries and partners—remains dedicated to driving industrial and social development globally.
